“The first fact about a celebration, is that it is a way of affirming defiantly, and even flamboyantly, that it is a good thing to be alive.” - - G. K. Chesterton

About the Chef

Chef Kevin Griffin

“What I love most about being a chef is the enjoyment that comes with pleasing people through food. I love this aspect the most because food is a big part of everyones’ lives. It brings people together, whether it be a special occasion, big event or just a casual get-together with friends and/or family. I also love to try new things and experiment with different ingredients that I have never used before!

In my free time, I love to be outdoors! I enjoy fishing or wakeboarding in the summer, mountain biking all year, snowboarding in the winter and escaping to the mountains at least once a year.”

Kevin is the new Executive Chef at the Lafayette Club. Previously he starred at other local restaurants, most recently as head chef at Birches on the Lake in nearby Long Lake, MN. We know you will enjoy the dinner he has prepared for us this evening!
